El Odinismo esta basado en la reconstrucción moderna de la tradición espiritual de las tribus nórdicas y germánicas anteriores al año mil de la era cristiana.
Es un rompecabezas que trata de unir la tradición, tomando los pedazos que se han rescatado de las tribus germánicas, por supuesto, siempre con bases antropológicas e históricas.
Es el culto a los ancestros, los dioses y la familia, ahí se encuentra la verdadera fuerza de este gran camino.
Se centra en Gauth, Wodanaz, Odin y todos los nombres con los que fue llamado en las diferentes tribus que honraron a las deidades Ases, Vanes, Alfars, Thursars, Jotnar y las criaturas que componen todo el folclore.
No tomamos literal los textos como Eddas y sagas y ningun libro como sagrado.
No creemos en el Ragnarokr, como los asatruar, ya que lo vemos altamente influenciado por los monjes cristianos.
Se enriquece de conceptos como Wyrd, Orlog y Maegen, que están en las tribus anglos, jutos y saxon.
El ser Odinista es ser politeista.
Honramos a los Ases,Vanes, Alfar y en algunos grupos a los Jotnar y Thursars.
En el Odinismo hay dos divisiones:
Los Folkish, y los Tribalistas. Básicamente los primeros le dan mucha importancia a los lazos sanguíneos que comparten como pueblos, y los segundos (nuestro caso), en la asimilación de la cultura en el individuo que entra en la tribu.
Entre los Folkish la gran mayoría no honra al dios Loki, pero es respetado. En los grupos Odinistas Tribales si, ya que lo ven como hermano por juramento de Odin, y en algunos grupos, como uno de los dioses creadores de la raza humana.
Las dos ramas son tradicionalistas y repudian las injerencias de la New age Wicatru, llamado también eclecticismo=paganos= universalismo.
Todos los grupos Odinistas rechazan la visión fantasiosa hippy dualista del granjero islandes Sveinbjörn Beinteinsson.
Los Odinistas honramos a la madre Folk Else Christensen.
Tomamos los inicios del Odinismo moderno en 1930, siendo la primera rama en legalizarse como religión en 1970 por el Odinic Rite, un grupo emanado de Else Christensen.
En 1997 surge la Hermandad Odinista del Sagrado Fuego, que honra a los cinco panteones: Aesir, Vanir, Alfar, Jötnar y Thursar. Siendo la primera Hermandad Odinista que difundió el Tribalimo de naturaleza no racista y el honrar y respetar al dios Loki en el mundo Heathen.
Algo que nos identifica como Odinistas es que usamos términos como "era rúnica" 2271 y "era cristiana" 2021.
Usamos los lemas Fe, Familia y Folk, o Fe, Honor y Familia.
Nos enfocamos en reconstruir e interpretar la cultura e idioma ancestral de nuestros ancestros y las tribus donde provienen, ejemplo: saxon, jutos anglos, godos, lombardos, frisios.
No usamos el ritual del martillo, ya que eso es un invento de Edred Thorsson.
Nuestro símbolo base es el Valknut, pero igual algunos portan el Mjolnir como protección.
El término Odinismo lo popularizó en 1848 Orestes Brownson por primera vez en tiempos modernos.
El australiano Alexander Rud Mills sería uno de los fundadores del Odinismo Moderno, su origen con la Iglesia Anglicana de Odin en Australia, aunque tenía influencias mayoritariamente cristianas.
Por eso se toma el modelo de Else en las Hermandades Odinistas.
Lamentablemente, la poca disposición de estudiar de los grupos que inician, la rápida difusión del internet, popularizaron el copiar y aglutinar la informacion de manera irresponsable. Como consecuencia de esto, surgen grupos de asatrus Odinistas expres que "combinan" los dos términos (Asatru y Oðinnismo) pasándolo como uno solo. Lo que es peor es que se hacen llamar "paganos nórdicos" termino que es muy insultante para un verdadero seguidor Heathen, sea por ignorancia o total desconocimiento de la historia.
Básicamente, el asatru se basa en el período vikingo, su mitologia, y la reconstruccion de Sveinbjörn Beinteinsson en Islandia por allá del 1974 .
Al existir abundancia de páginas web asatruar, la informacion disponible parece indicar que Odinista y Asatru son lo mismo, pero no es así.
Los Odinistas seguimos las nueve nobles virtudes y no las relacionamos con nada que tenga que ver con grupos de odio. Cabe señalar que estas nueve nobles virtudes son una invención moderna de John Yeowell (apodado "Stubba") miembro del Odinic Rite y que básicamente son un extracto filosófico del poema Hávamál.
Hay grupos nefastos que utilizan la Tradición al servicio de oscuros intereses de gurues megalómanos, quienes por ansias de fama o poder, o mera ignorancia, mezclan términos, malinterpretan las cosas, manipulan la historia a su antojo, se meten en terrenos políticos y crean toda una fantasía que nada tiene que ver con nuestra espiritualidad. Todas las organizaciones Odinistas en realidad son apoliticas.Los miembros que se involucren en el activismo político, lo hacen a título personal y no como representantes de alguna organización Odinista, mucho ojo con esto.
Hoy en día sabemos que los Heathens racistas en realidad no son Oðinnistas, son una confusión entre Wotanistas, Odalistas, Gnosticos hiperboreanos y quién sabe qué otras cosas.
Nosotros nos sentimos con la obligación moral de mostrar nuestra rama de la Tradición como lo que en realidad es y aclarar tanta calumnia, como eso de que todos los Oðinnistas por igual son neonazis o racistas (nada más lejos de la realidad).
Yo mismo he sido tachado de nazi por organizaciones Ásatrúar por el solo hecho de llamarme orgullosamente Odinista.
Pese a todo, el Odinismo evoluciona de una manera vertiginosa, en cada pais va transformándose como parte del tronco de caminos espirituales que conforman el Heathendom:

Los invito a que busquen, investiguen, pues todo tiene una historia y un porque.
Pero no se queden callados y sobre todo vivan el Oðinnismo o el camino Heathen que elijan.
Ser un verdadero Odinista es aquel que siempre buscará el conocimiento para alcanzar la sabiduria siguiendo los pasos del gran tuerto, uno de los 3 padres creadores de la humanidad.
Centrando su fuerza en su familia, su espiritualidad y sus ancestros, el Odinista recuerda que no es el color de tu piel lo que marca la espiritualidad que debe seguir. Es el llamado ancestral, que impulsa su corazón.

Odinism is based on the modern reconstruction of the spiritual tradition of the Nordic and Germanic tribes prior to the year one thousand of the Christian era.
It is a puzzle that tries to unite tradition, taking the pieces that have been rescued from the Germanic tribes, of course, always with anthropological and historical bases.
It is the worship of ancestors, gods and family, therein lies the true strength of this great path.
It focuses on Gauth, Wodanaz, Odin and all the names he was called by in the different tribes that honored the deities Ases, Vanes, Alfars, Thursars, Jotnar and the creatures that make up all of folklore.

The two branches are traditionalists and repudiate the interference of the New age Wicatru, also called eclecticism = pagans = universalism.
All Odinist groups reject the dualistic hippy fantasy vision of the Icelandic farmer Sveinbjörn Beinteinsson.
We Odinists honor the folk mother Else Christensen.
We take the beginnings of modern Oðinnism in 1930, being the first branch to be legalized as a religion in 1970 by the Odinic Rite, a group emanated from Else Christensen.
In 1997 the Odinist Brotherhood of the Sacred Fire emerged, which honors the five pantheons: Aesir, Vanir, Alfar, Jötnar and Thursar. Being the first Odinist Brotherhood that spread Tribalism of a non-racist nature and honoring and respecting the god Loki in the Heathen world.

There are nefarious groups that use the Tradition at the service of the dark interests of megalomaniac gurus, who for desire for fame or power, or mere ignorance, mix terms, misunderstand things, manipulate history at will, get into political terrain and create all a fantasy that has nothing to do with our spirituality. All Odinist organizations are actually apolitical. Members who engage in political activism do so in a personal capacity and not as representatives of any Odinist organization, be very careful with this.
Today we know that the racist Heathens are not really Odinists, they are a confusion between Wotanists, Odalists, Hyperborean Gnostics and who knows what else.
We feel the moral obligation to show our branch of the Tradition for what it really is and clear up so much slander, such as that all Oðinnists alike are neo-Nazis or racists (nothing is further from the truth).
I have been branded a Nazi by Ásatrúar organizations for the fact of proudly calling myself Odinnist.
Despite everything, Odinism evolves at a rapid pace, in each country it is transformed as part of the trunk of spiritual paths that make up the Heathendom:
Oðinnism.

Theodish.
Sketru.
Asatru.

Fyrn sidu.
Rokatru.
Dankwasiduz.
Ginnsidr.

Thursatrus.
I invite you to search, investigate, because everything has a story and a reason.
But do not stay silent and above all live Oðinnism or the Heathen path you choose.
Being a true Odinist is one who will always seek knowledge to achieve wisdom following in the footsteps of the great one-eyed man, one of the 3 creator fathers of humanity.
